Reviews on Legaly are sent to the reviewed lawyer. The reviewer must provide their full name and verify their email address. We log his or her IP address into the system.
The reviewing party has agreed in advance to revoke the lawyer's duty of confidentiality regarding the client relationship, in such a way that the lawyer can assess the authenticity of the review. The lawyer is not allowed to see the content of the review itself - only which client has written it. He or she is then asked to confirm or deny the client relationship.
If the lawyer confirms the client relationship, the review is published automatically. The lawyer can then see the review on his profile and be able to write a public response. This preserves the lawyer's right of reply.
If, on the other hand, the lawyer denis the client relationship, the report is hidden. Legaly reserves the right to contact previous clients and request documentation of the client relationship. This may mean that the review is still published.
If the lawyer does not log in to confirm or deny the client relationship, the review can be published on his or her profile automatically after 2 weeks. Legaly has a moderating council assessing all reviews and evaluating them according to our strict requirements.
